Man arrested after allegedly driving home to Faslane while drunk

Faslane (Geopolitical Entity)

A MAN returning home to Faslane has been arrested for allegedly driving drunk.

Police said the 26-year-old was driving to HMNB Clyde and on arrival was held by MOD officers suspecting him of driving under the influence on October 23.

Officers attended and took a sample of breath which the man reportedly was positive for alcohol.

He was taken to Clydebank police office and further tests were taken and the man allegedly failed.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
