Man arrested after alleged attempted break-ins at houses in Falkirk

A man has been arrested following reports of attempted break-ins at houses on a Falkirk street.

Officers were alerted to the incidents on Napier Place in the Bainsford area during the early hours of Saturday April 18.

A 40-year-old man was arrested by cops at the scene and reported to prosecutors for Intended to Theft.

Taking to Twitter, Falkirk Police said: "Police in Falkirk were called in the early hours of Sat 16th April regarding someone trying to break into houses in Napier Place.

"We were quickly on the scene and apprehended a 40yr old male.

"He has been charged and reported for Intended Theft."
