Man arrested after 62-year-old left fighting for his life in Northern Quarter attack

A man has been arrested after a 62-year-old man was attacked in the Northern Quarter.

The victim was left fighting for his life after the incident on Tib Street last month. He was found unconscious at the scene and was rushed to hospital as the area was cordoned off for investigation work.

His loved ones were 'desperate for answers' as he remained in hospital in a critical condition. Police issued an appeal for help to find the suspect.
