A man has been arrested following an armed robbery in south Dublin on Monday afternoon.
The robbery happened at a shop on Rockville Road in Blackrock. A man entered the shop armed with a knife and threatened staff before fleeing with a sum of cash.
Gardai attended the scene and no one was injured during the incident. Officers conducted searches of the area and located a suspect.

A man aged in his 50s was arrested and taken to Blackrock Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. Gardai recovered the stolen sum of cash in full.
A garda spokesman said that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
