A 28-year-old man from Waikerie who has been charged with leaving the scene of a crash with a motorcyclist made no application for bail when appearing in court for the first time today.
Jordan Lee Harry Fisher was arrested at Brahma Lodge, in Adelaide's north, last night and appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court this afternoon.
The 40-year-old motorcycle rider from Morphett Vale suffered critical injuries when he collided with a ute which police allege was being driven by Mr Fisher on the Thiele Highway at Freeling, north of Adelaide, on Sunday.
On Monday, police said the driver of the ute got out of the vehicle and spoke to witnesses before driving off, leaving a trailer behind.
Police charged Mr Fisher with causing harm by dangerous driving, leaving an accident scene and driving unlicensed.
He was remanded in custody and is due in court again in September.
