A man and a woman have been taken to hospital following a late night collision in Newcastle city centre.
Emergency services were called to an incident on Grainger Street just before 11pm on Thursday night.
Two paramedic crews, a doctor and a hazardous area response team rushed to the scene.

They treated a man with a suspected broken leg and a woman with a head injury and transported them both to hospital.
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) said: "We were called at 22.58h last night (6 April) to a road traffic collision on Grainger Street.
"We dispatched two paramedic crews, a doctor, one hazardous area response team (HART) crew and a clinical team leader.
"We treated two patients - a woman with a head injury and a man with a suspected broken leg.
"Both patients were taken to hospital."
