Man and woman rushed to hospital after 'serious' attack in Glasgow street

A man and a woman have been rushed to hospital after a 'serious' attack as a Scots street was locked down.

Emergency services were scrambled to Corsock Street, Glasgow, between 10pm and 10.25pm on Wednesday, February 16.

Cops were alerted to reports of a serious assault of a 38-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, reports Glasgow Live.

The pair were both raced to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The attack has sparked a probe with police confirming enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Police received report of the serious assault of a 38-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman which occurred on Corsock Street in Glasgow between 10pm and 10.25pm on Wednesday, 16 February, 2022.

“The man and woman were both taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
