Man and woman found dead in Canterbury as police seal off tattoo parlour

A man and woman were found dead in Canterbury on Monday evening as police sealed off a tattoo parlour.

Officers were called to GothInk Studio on Lower Bridge Street at 5.20pm where the bodies of a 54-year-old man and 35-year-old woman were found.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene, Kent Police said. Inquiries into the incident are ongoing but officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation, according to KentOnline.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating the deaths of two people in Canterbury.

“At 5.19pm on Monday, officers attended an address in Lower Bridge Street, where a 54-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, who were known to each other, were pronounced deceased at the scene.

“Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.”
