Police arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of drug offences.
Officers on patrol spotted a 35-year-old man on Newling Street in Birkenhead at around 6.45pm on Friday, March 4.
He was searched and found in possession of Class A drugs, police said, and a man was arrested.

Police then carried out a search at a house nearby and found a number of weapons and a large amount of drugs including around 2,500 wraps of crack cocaine, uncut heroin, multiple bags of brown powder and approximately 2kg of cannabis bush.
Together, the drugs were estimated to have a street value of £30k.
A 26-year-old woman was arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs and two electric bikes were also seized as being stolen.
Both the man and woman were taken to custody for further questioning.

"A search of a nearby property was also conducted where a 26-year-old woman was arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs after a search revealed a number of weapons and a large amount of drugs including around 2,500 wraps of crack cocaine, uncut heroin, multiple bags of brown powder and approx. 2kg of cannabis bush.
"Together, the drugs were estimated to have a street value of £30k.
"Two electric bikes were also seized as being stolen.
"Both the man and woman were taken to custody for further questioning."
