A man and woman were bailed after being arrested on suspicion of assaulting each other.
Cheshire Police said officers were called to a “disturbance” at a house on The Croft in The Brow, Runcorn, on Saturday morning. Officers arrested a woman on suspicion of wounding with intent, and arrested a man - the alleged wounding victim - on suspicion of strangulation.
The ECHO received a report from a member of the public on Saturday afternoon that police including forensics had been seen parked outside the house. A patrol car and police community support officer remained at the scene when the ECHO visited the area at around 5pm, and a police car was also parked outside on Monday morning.
