Man and two-year-old toddler rushed to hospital after Falkirk crash leaves car flipped on roof

A man and his two-year-old toddler have been rushed to the hospital after a crash in Falkirk which left one car flipped onto its roof.

Emergency Services raced to the scene on Falkirk Road in Bonnybridge at 7pm on May 19, following reports of a collision between a van and a car.

Pictures from the incident have emerged and shot a number of crews at the scene and a car lying upside down.

According to The Daily Record, a 38-year-old man and a 2-year-old boy were later taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment.

Police Scotland say that a 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences.

A spokesperson for the national force said: "Officers received a report of a crash involving a van and a car on Falkirk Road, Bonnybridge around 7pm on Thursday, 19 May, 2022.

"A 38-year-old man and a two-year-old boy were taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital as a precaution.

"A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with road traffic offences."
