Emergency services raced to the scene at 8pm on Sunday night following the single-vehicle collision on the A82 near Crainlarich.

Firefighters assisted paramedics and the helimed team to treat the driver, who was then airlifted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. Medics have described his condition as serious.

The road remained closed for several hours but was reopened in both directions at around 5am this morning, Traffic Scotland confirmed. Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A police spokesperson said: "Around 8pm on Sunday 27 November, 2022, police were made aware of a one-vehicle road crash on the A82 near Crianlarich.

"Emergency services attended and a man, the driver of the car, was airlifted to the QEUH where medical staff say he’s in a serious condition. Enquiries are ongoing."
