A man has been airlifted to hospital following an incident that took place outside an old petrol station in West Cork.
Gardaí have cordoned off the area where the incident took place, near apartments on the Castletownsend Rd near Skibbereen this Thursday morning, Cork Beo reported.
The man, who CorkBeo believes to be from from Eastern Europe, was brought to Cork University Hospital (CUH) via air ambulance, the authorities have stated.

The injuries he sustained are understood to be non-life threatening.
An area comprising of a now defunct petrol station has been sealed off by gardai amid an investigation. Gardai say that there is no further information on what took place.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of an incident that occurred at approximately 11:15am this morning, Thursday 11th May 2023 in the Castletownsend Road area, Skibbereen, Co. Cork.
"A male was transferred to Cork University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
"No further information is available at this time."
