A man has admitted acquiring £18,000 of money earned from a fraud on a pensioner.
Gary Curran, 44, committed the crime at various locations in Glasgow and Renfrewshire between September 12 and 19, 2020.
This includes premises in Glasgow city centre’s Argyle Street as well as a Bank of Scotland in Johnstone.

The charge states Curran, from Darnley, acquired, used and had possession of £18,000 that was criminal property.
Curran received the money by cheques made payable to him by 76-year-old James Moodie.
This represented the proceeds of fraudulent conduct carried out by people unknown to the prosecutor.
The cheques were deposited in Curran’s bank account in his name and he withdrew funds from the bank account, which arose from fraudulent conduct.
He then made payments from the funds to the people carrying out the fraudulent conduct.
Curran pled guilty yesterday at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the single charge.
More information surrounding the circumstances will be heard at next month’s sentencing.
Sheriff Paul Crozier continued Curran’s bail meantime.
