A 75-year-old man has died after he was run over by a car which failed to stop while he was crossing the road.
He died on January 16 - three days after the crash, which occurred as he crossed the road at the junction of Leeds Bradford Road and Swinnow Lane, in Pudsey, at about 9.05pm. A 31-year-old man from Bradford has been arrested in connection with the collision on January 13 and has been released on bail for enquiries to continue.
A Hyundai car has also been recovered for further tests. West Yorkshire Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses to come forward.
