Choosing a roommate is a lot like dating. It's a really big commitment.
And before you take a chance on someone, there are a few things you'll want to consider, for example, their work schedule, and how often they like to have friends around.
But one man looking for a roommate has been slammed for his bizarre requirements, reports Daily Star.
Forty-four-year-old Owen was looking for someone to share his house with.
So, he typed up a list of requirements, printed it out and posted it around his town in the hopes of finding a single lady between the ages of 18 and 25 who'd be happy to cook and clean.
But if that's not weird enough, Owen only has a one-bedroom flat, so the 'lucky' woman would also have to share the room with him.

Drugs, pets and alcohol were not permitted in the home, and the woman isn't allowed to bring any male friends back.
There is also a rule whereby no doors are allowed to be locked at any time for security reasons - even on the bathroom.
A picture of the ad was shared on Twitter, where it has since gone viral having racked up 350,000 likes.
The strange ad read: "Roommate wanted, single male (44) searching for roommate.
"Must be female aged 18-25 and single.
"Must be willing to cook and clean.
"One bedroom apartment, you can use the couch until you are comfortable enough to share the bedroom.
"No pets, no drinking, no drugs and no male friends allowed.
"My home has a 'no closed doors' policy(this is for safety). $400 (£311) a month
"Call Owen."
The phone number provided on the piece of paper had been blurred out by the Twitter user.
Many people were grossed out by the note and were quick to say so in the comments.
“44 and looking for a woman as young as 18?!" exclaimed one person.
Another said: “I’m SPEECHLESS.”
A third person commented: "Yuk. And men wonder why we don't trust them."
Someone else put: "Lowkey creeped out... some people really do exist thinking this is fine and normal? Appropriate?”
And a fifth person said: "The only good thing on this paper is paying $400 a month. Everything else is a red flag. Do yourself a favour and don't roommate with strangers."
