A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed by two thugs in a violent attack in a Paisley street.
The 43-year-old victim got into an argument with two men in Waverley Road on Tuesday night, resulting in the brutes attacking him with a weapon.
Neighbours in the Foxbar street heard shouting between the group of men shortly after 9pm, with the two thugs then attacking the man before fleeing the scene.

It’s understood he was stabbed on the body in the attack, and attended at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment to a laceration.
He has since been discharged from hospital after receiving stitches from medics, and police in Paisley have now launched an investigation into the attack, which they say is being treated as a serious assault.
Detectives are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything to get in touch to assist with their enquiries to trace the suspects.
The attackers are described as both being white, in their mid-20s, having short, dark hair, of slim build and wearing dark clothing.
It is not known if either men were known to the victim.
Detective inspector Ian Ross, of Paisley CID said: “This attack by the two suspects was a serious incident which resulted in a man needing hospital treatment for injuries he sustained with a weapon.
“Thankfully, after receiving treatment, he was able to be discharged, however, we are now trying to establish what has taken place during the altercation in Waverley Road on Tuesday night.
“We would ask any member of the public in the community who may have seen or heard anything in the street during the incident to please get in touch with us to assist with our enquiries.”
