Police have taped off an area near a cemetery in Rochdale this morning after the body of a man was found inside a car.
Officers were called to a concern for welfare of a man in a vehicle on Boarshaw Road in Middleton at around 8.45am today (Saturday, 4 March).
Emergency services rushed to the scene but tragically, a 37-year-old man was pronounced dead. It's understood the vehicle was parked near to Middleton cemetery.

An investigation has been launched, with police and detectives pictured at the scene. An area of the residential street has been taped off by police.
Eyewitnesses described seeing a heavy police and emergency service response earlier this morning. Enquiries are said to be ongoing but at this stage, police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death.
In a statement, GMP said: "At around 8:45 today (Saturday 4 March 2023) officers were called to a concern for welfare of a 37-year-old man in a vehicle on Boarshaw Road in Middleton.
"Emergency services attended, but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death."
