Man, 31, suffers bleed on brain after alleged attack in Cardiff city centre

A 31-year-old man suffered serious injuries including a bleed on the brain after he was allegedly assaulted in Cardiff city centre. He also suffered a fractured eye socket following the incident at the junction of Quay Street and St Mary Street on Sunday, October 30, according to police.

Officers from South Wales Police are now appealing for information which might help their investigations into the incident which occurred outside the Escape Rooms in the city centre, where the man was reportedly punched leading to him falling to the floor. Sergeant Mike Williamson said reports suggest the man might have been involved in an argument earlier in the evening. He said: “We believe there are witnesses in the area who told the victim’s friends that they saw the suspect arguing with a female prior to the assault which happened some time between midnight and 12.30am.
