A 28-year-old man is due to appear in court tomorrow in connection with an alleged stabbing of two teenage boys in East Kilbride.
The boys, aged 15 and 16, were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment after the incident in Greenhill's Lickprivick Road around 9.30 on Friday night.
Emergency services including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service raced to the scene.
Police launched a probe into the incident and said they were following a "positive line of enquiry".
They didn't however disclose the boys' medical condition.
A police spokesperson told Lanarkshire Live today: "Officers were called to Lickprivick Road to reports of a stabbing on Friday, April 15.
“Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“A 28-year-old man has been arrested and is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Tuesday, April 19."
