Six people have been arrested after a young man was stabbed to death on a residential street in south London.
Police were called to Hillingdon Street in Walworth shortly after 9.15pm on Monday following reports of a stabbing.
Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene, where a 21-year-old man was found with stab injuries.
He was treated by paramedics but died at the scene near Kennington, the Metropolitan Police said.
Five men and a woman, all in their 20s, were arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of murder.
They all remain in police custody, pending further investigation. Meanwhile, the Met is working to find the victim’s next of kin.

Forensic officers were seen entering a flat on the first floor in a building inside the cordon.
Borough commander Emma Bond, who leads policing in Southwark, said: “We understand this news is both shocking and unsettling to the community and a number of crime scenes remain in place.
“Our investigations continue and there will be an increased police presence in the area, I advise anyone in the community who has concerns to speak to their local officers.
“I would also like to appeal to the public for information. Please, if you saw, heard or have any footage following last night’s incident then please come forward.
“Your information can significantly help our detectives with their investigation.”
Pastor Lorraine Jones, whose son Dwayne, 20, was stabbed to death on the Angell Town estate in 2014, told MyLondon: “I don’t know about the ins and outs of this stabbing, but we know a lot of this conflict has to do with gangs, drugs, money and violence. There needs to be more done.”

London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 4.31pm yesterday (Monday April 14) to reports of an incident in Hillingdon Street, SE17.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.
“The first of our crews arrived in four minutes. Our crews treated a man at the scene. Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency responders, he died.”
