Homicide squad detectives have charged an 18-year-old man in relation to the death of a relative in the outback WA town of Boulder, on Thursday night.
Police were called to a Richardson Street home about 10pm on Thursday and found a man with an injury consistent with a stab wound.
The 24-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital, where he died a short time later.
An 18-year-old man, who was related to the victim, was taken into custody at the time and has been charged with murder on Saturday.
He was refused bail and will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday.
