Mama June Shannon has revealed she is planning to move closer to her daughter Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell as she undergoes treatment for a rare form of cancer.
Anna was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma back in January and started chemotherapy to try and battle the illness in March.
The 28-year-old has been supported by her family throughout her heartbreaking illness, with Mama June currently splitting her time between her home in Alabama and Anna's home in Georgia.
Mama June said she stays in an Airbnb with her husband Justin Stroud when they visit Anna, but all of that is set to change.
"We are definitely leaving Alabama. I'm in the process of leaving Alabama now and I'm in the final steps of my legal issues, so we'll definitely be going back to Georgia," the TLC star revealed.
Mama June and Anna were previously said to have a fraught relationship after falling out when Anna accused her mother of "never apologising" for her past mistakes.
However, they seem to be trying to mend their relationship, with Anna even attending her mother's wedding in January.
Mama June has insisted that their relationship was actually on the mend before her daughter was diagnosed with cancer.
"It didn't just all of a sudden miraculously start working like what Anna had cancer, you know, to make that totally clear with everybody," she told The Sun.
Anna was diagnosed with adrenal cancer after she complained to the doctor about stomach aches.
After undergoing tests, doctors discovered the cancer in her liver, kidney and lung.
According to the Mayo Clinic, adrenal cancer is a rare cancer that begins in one or both of the small, triangular glands which are located on top of your kidneys. It can occur at any age.
Doctors are said to be waiting to see how the star reacts to the initial chemotherapy treatment before any future decisions are made on what they can try next.
