Mama June has confirmed that she has ended her "bitter fued" with her daughter Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell following her cancer diagnosis.
The 28-year-old daughter of the reality star revealed that she was diagnosed with stage four cancer in her liver, kidneys, and lungs and has been battling the disease since January.
In an Instagram update, Anna shared a snap wearing a blue head scarf as she made a silly face with her boyfriend Eldridge Toney, at Cracker Barrel in Atlanta, Georgia.
She added the caption: "Well going on to round 3 of chemo.this yesterday it was pretty good day but did get a little and Cracker Barrel was good going down but not up but overall it’s going good and chemo is working we come to find so things are looking good."
Anna, who shares two daughters with her ex-husband Michael Cardwell, had several tests carried out after she complained about a number of ailments including stomach pain. She underwent her first chemotherapy session in February.
The devastating news of Anna's illness has brought their "fractured" family together after six years of the siblings being estranged from their mother, Mama June.
During a chat with the Daily Mail, Mama June confirmed that she had been visiting Anna during her treatments.
"Honestly, the people that have been there for her since she's been diagnosed is me and Justin, Eldridge and the girls," the 43-year-old said. "There's no other family that come up there and sit with her during her treatments.
"There is nobody that comes and checks to make sure that she's good, to make sure that she got everything. It's literally me, Justin, Pumpkin (Lauren Efird), Honey Boo Boo (Alana Thompson), Jessica. That's it."
She also explained that the family had been "working through arguments and undergoing counseling" to repair her relationship with her daughters.
Her husband, Justin Stroud admitted that it was hard to see the distance between the family members.
He said: "I see the change that she's making every day, but they wasn't around to see it, but I understand where they're coming from too.
"I was an addict myself and people get tired of being told that you're going to do something and yet that it never comes," Justin added, shedding light on June's battle with cocaine addiction that initially caused the rift between the family.
Alana Thompson, aka Honey Boo Boo took to Instagram to speak about her sister's cancer battle and wrote: "This is what I mean when I say you never truly know what somebody is going through at home. No matter how famous they are.
"Yes I'm very famous, but normal s*** happens to me and my family and y'all need to realize that ASAP."
