With the cost of living crisis challenging family budgets, Britons are constantly looking for more cost efficient ways to live.
Tackling high inflation, Asda's new Just Essentials range provides shoppers with inexpensive meals in hard to miss yellow packaging.
Savvy mam Leah Rubidge, is one UK resident who is making the most of the relatively-new range, taking to a viral Facebook page to share her successes with a particularly low-cost meal, which saves her a small fortune at just £2.23.

The Mirror reports that in order to turn away from takeaway meals, the bright mam opted for a modern twist on a 'fake-away' - which ended up being an undeniable success. Posting to the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group group, Leah shared photos of her daughter's meal for tea, consisting of a cheese and tomato pizza, mozzarella dippers, and garlic bread.
The mum-of-one admitted that the meal was a complete 'success', costing just a fraction of what she would lay out on a takeaway, and even left her child 'never wanting' to order a meal out again. Alongside her photo, Leah wrote: "Another Asda yellow label success! To replace takeaways for my family I decided to try a fake-away.
"Instead of spending £20, plus on an ordered meal I spent £2.23. Instead of waiting 30 mins plus for delivery it took 12 minutes to cook. Reviews from fussy child - 'I don’t ever want to order again, can we have this every night?'
"Really glad I tried it and a big money saver!"
Adding to the original post, the mum clarified that it was not a normal-sized dinner plate, but simply a large pizza, consisting of six slices. Since sharing, the original post has rocketed in responses, having surpassed 3,200 interactions from fellow Facebook users.
Supportive parents took to the comments, praising Leah for sharing the moneysaving tip. One parent, gushed: "Amazing my kids also love these pizzas which is win win for me saves some much needed pennies xx."
"That's insanely great! With the energy crisis happening I've really been struggling food wise as a single person household. This would easily do me one or two meals, thanks!" added a second.
Unfortunately, the post received responses from judgmental parents, who slammed the inexpensive, saying: "Yet again making absolutely rubbish unhealthy food cheap & affordable."
Rushing to Leah's defence, a woman wrote: "What a very sad world we live in...so many judgemental people. There's nothing wrong with this food every now and again. I personally don't mind these frozen pizza," while another, added: "Sheesh so many judgemental people , if your cupboards are full and you're eating then that's all that matters."
