Ross County boss Malky Mackay insists he is not letting Hibs link distract him from his current role.
The Staggies currently sit fifth in the Scottish Premiership, securing themselves a top six place before the split.
The Dingwall side have exceeded the expectations of many this season - just one point off Dundee United in fourth position.
Mackay's men's next challenge sees them play host to top of the table Celtic who travel north this Sunday.
His achievements at the Highland club have not gone unnoticed, with the bookies linking the coach with the managerial vacancy at Hibs.
The Easter Road side sacked manager Shaun Maloney yesterday after just four months in charge
And since, the County boss has emerged as one of the early favourites to take over at the Edinburgh club.
However, Mackay insists that he is not letting the rumours steer his attention from his duties at Ross County as the manager looks ahead to Sunday's clash and even the potential of European football for his Dingwall side.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the County boss explained: "It is no distraction at all to be honest with you.
"I've been involved in the game in management for the last 15 years or so and seeing other managers linked, you kind of realise how these situations work.
"Your only focus is to get on with your own job.
"I've got a tough enough job here at the moment, trying to make sure that ourselves and everyone at the football club finishes as highly and strongly as possible.
"Really for the fans more than anything else, to get them the chance to possibly play in Europe.
"My only focus and drive and the respect I've got for our owner is the fact that I am the manager here and I have got no other thought other than how my team are going to try and play against Celtic at the weekend."
