Malik Tillman in Rangers 'love' confession as he gives strong hint over permanent transfer

Malik Tillman has declared his love for Rangers as he gave his strongest hint yet over a permanent stay in Glasgow.

The USA international joined in the summer on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich with the Ibrox men holding an option to make the deal full-time. The midfielder has been a bright spark this season and showed his importance to the side once again in the Premiership return against Hibs by grabbing two assists in the comeback thriller.

He's been a key feature in the Rangers team this season and picked up big experiences in the Champions Leag ue. Boss Michael Beale has already publicly expressed his desire to the Ibrox board to get a deal done to get the 20-year-old in the door for years to come. Asked if he felt Ibrox was the right place to continue his development, Tillman declared: “I think so, yes. There have been some ups and downs but I always try and give my best and keep improving the whole time.

"I came here to play as many games as I can. I love the club and everything around it, so we will see what will happen in the summer.”

Speaking about Tillman, Beale said: "It's a pretty obvious one. I really like Malik.

"He is a fantastic talent. He wants to play slightly higher. We're going to give him the freedom to run out of that midfield and get into the positions he was in today.

"You can see what he could grow into to. He's the exact type of player that we want at this football club. I don't know the exact fee, I don't know where we're going to go and get it from, but if we can do it, I would definitely sign Malik Tillman, yes."
