On the ensuing play, Carr dropped back to throw, completing his pass for a modest gain. Collins went down after a great effort in the pass rush and was helped off the field.
His absence in the Texans’ defense will be sorely missed, as Collins has been one of the more consistent contributors on the unit this season. In his first season in Houston, Collins has made quite the impression on his defensive coaches, who rely on him for push against opposing offensive lines.
