Malawi's vice-president, nine others confirmed dead in plane crash

Saulos Chilima, the vice president of Malawi, and nine others were flying within the country on Monday morning when their aircraft disappeared from airport radars. Roughly 24 hours later, the wreck of a plane has been found with no survivors on board.

Also, Australian company Woodside Energy announced on Tuesday that it has started extracting oil from the Sangomar field, located off the coast of Senegal. It's the country's first offshore oil project. 

And a team of Tunisian women are closing in on winning a top prize for innovation with their design for a wheelchair that can be controlled by brain signals, voice commands or facial expressions.
