As summer brings glorious weather, gig-goers will be gearing up for all the exciting outdoor music events happening across Dublin.
Malahide Castle in north Dublin has a number of fantastic events lined up this month with some big names playing at the well-known tourist attraction. Depeche Mode will be performing on the grounds of the castle on June 14 followed by Paolo Nutini on June 16.
Also playing at Malahide Castle is Blur on June 24 and Sam Fender the next day on June 25. Florence +The Machine will be taking to the stage on June 27, followed by Sting on June 28 and Hozier on June 30.
Although tickets for the gigs have mostly sold out you can find a few remaining seats on Ticketmaster.ie. There are several ways to get to Malahide Castle and concert-goers have been urged to plan ahead of their gigs so as to avoid disappointment.

How to get there?
There are plenty of ways to get to Malahide Castle. You can get Dublin Bus routes 32 and 42 from the city center that go to Malahide Village or you can take a direct bus no 102 from Dublin Airport straight to Malahide Village.
Meanwhile Marathon Buses are offering a direct bus service from Custom House Quay in Dublin City Centre. Pre-booking is required and can be completed here.
The DART serves Malahide Village which is a short 10-minute walk from the castle. You can also drive to Malahide Castle but car parking is very limited and people have been urged to use public transport instead.
Banned items
People are not allowed to bring backpacks and large bags into the concerts at Malahide Castle. Only small bags measuring no more than A4 will be permitted into the venue for concerts.
Bags will be subject to search upon entering Malahide Castle for concerts.
Other banned items include garden furniture, megaphones/air horns, illegal/unidentifiable substances, anything that can be perceived as a weapon, professional cameras and accompanying equipment, alcohol, animals with the exception of guide dogs and excessive amounts of cigarettes.
