Newcastle United fans' excitement for the upcoming season has heightened after the Premier League fixtures were announced. The Magpies begin their campaign against newly-promoted Nottingham Forest at St James' Park on August 6, the Reds' first top-flight fixture since 1999.
An away trip to Brighton follows and Eddie Howe's troops have the daunting task of facing Manchester City and Liverpool in their opening five fixtures.
