If you love Charlotte Tilbury's make-up and spend hours scrolling through the official Instagram account wondering how you can recreate the glamorous looks at home, then a professional has come to the rescue.
Deirbhile Kearney, who has worked in the make-up industry for seven years, has been helping The Mirror test budget make-up from Primark and Poundland to see if you can swap your luxury products for cheaper ones.
The pro has shared a top tip for achieving a Charlotte Tilbury-style look for less, using just your favourite eyeshadow and some sparkly highlighter from Primark.
Demonstrating the hack on Lifestyle Editor, Courtney Pochin, Deirbhile used a £5 face and eye palette from the high street store, called Glam On The Glow.
She applied eyeshadow to the eyes as normal, layering a dark shade and a shimmery colour over the top of the lid.
But the key step to creating the glowy Charlotte Tilbury look involved adding some of the Aura highlighter to the mix.
Deirbhile lightly packed some of the product onto a small eyeshadow brush and applied it all around the inner corner of each eye.
"If you like that Charlotte Tilbury look then this is a really good trick," she said as she worked.
To finish off the eye make-up, you can then add eyeliner and mascara for maximum impact.
This comes after the make-up artist shared her downward hack for applying mascara.
"I always go down first with mascara, just to coat all the lashes and then go upwards to give some lift to the lashes," Deirbhile explains.
To give her technique a go, take any mascara of your choice and instead of going straight in as normal, you need to begin with the backs of your lashes. The expert claims this will help you evenly coat every single lash evenly.
She advises looking downwards and running the wand along the backs of your lashes.
If you hold a mirror at waist height and look down into it as you apply the mascara, you'll be able to do this a little more easily.
Once you've done this you can move on to do the other side of the lashes and apply mascara from the front as is traditionally done.
You can apply one coat to each side of the lashes, or add more depending on your personal preference.
And if your lashes still aren't looking quite right, you can go back in with your mascara wand or a spoolie to spread them out around the eye. Brushes and wands that are thinner will be best for getting right up in the lashes.
