Former RTE star and radio DJ Gareth O’Callaghan is to take time off from his current radio show after he was in a road crash last week.
The Classic Hits star’s wife Paula revealed details of the smash involving the couple and their daughter.
She told her followers: “Last Sunday, Gareth, myself and my daughter were involved in a road crash. Gareth won’t be on air this Saturday morning.

“We all just need time to recover. Life is fleeting. Make the most of each day, it can all be taken away in a moment.”
Fans told Gareth to take as much time as needed.
One wrote: “I hope you are all alright, enjoy the weekend and hopefully he will be back on the air next weekend, or whenever he feels up to it.”
