Make no mistake: Myles Garrett knows the demands must come from him

The Cleveland Browns will be hearing from their best player, Myles Garrett, this offseason after an abysmal season.

There are also little other ways to read into it: Garrett is talking about quarterback Deshaun Watson. Without publicly calling out his teammate and quarterback, Garrett told the Browns to can Watson or he would be gone.

And make no mistake, Garrett knows that if action is going to be taken, the demands have to come from him. The Browns traded Amari Cooper for quitting because of the quarterback, but Garrett? The Browns have to take Garrett seriously.

He is invested in the community, he is a part-owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and on the field, he is the best defensive player in football in his prime. He knows the Browns cannot live without him. This statement was premeditated and serves the purpose of saying what all the other 51 players in the locker room and all of Northeast Ohio have been thinking.

And good on Garrett for that. The Browns have no choice but to listen.
