A major supermarket chain is selling all its vegetables for 1p until Thursday to help with the cost of living crisis .
The offer means that veg that normally costs 99p or £1 has been slashed to just 1p a pack.
To take advantage of the offer, all customers need to do is add vegetables to their basket when online shopping and enter the code ‘ICE1VEG’ when they check out.
A discount is then applied. The scheme runs from today until 11pm on April 14, the Manchester Evening News reports .
All fresh vegetables included in the offer will have ‘best before’ dates that fall after Easter Sunday, to ensure they’re fresh for the holiday weekend.
Shoppers keen to grab a bargain, have until Thursday to take advantage of Iceland's offer.
Iceland managing director Richard Walker said: If we can help people who are feeling the pinch right now to save a few vital pennies while enjoying the same amazing quality of vegetables, then we’ll have done our job of being the supermarket that shoppers can rely on.”

Iceland last ran a 1p vegetable offer in the run-up to Christmas 2021.
At the time, Iceland said it had "blown the competition out of the water" by undercutting rivals Aldi and Lidl by as much as 18p.
However, at the time shoppers had to buy three packs to get the discount.
