A major search is underway to find a long-distance runner who went missing three days ago.
Jenny Hall, 23, was last seen leaving her home in Barracks Farm on Tuesday, February 18 at around 3pm.
Her red Ford Focus was found parked on a road between Eggleston and Stanhope on Wednesday sparking a frantic search.
Emergency teams, including mountain rescue and air support, have covered more than 100 miles of track in the Teesdale area so far with help from the rural community and landowners.
However, officers are still appealing for any information that could help locate the missing woman.
Authorities are focusing on the running trails Ms Hall frequently uses in the area.
Sniffer dogs have been brought in to help with the search but conditions have been challenging due to the weather and terrain.
Digital intelligence officers have conducted extensive enquiries into Jenny's mobile phone, smart watch and running apps but none have yielded any results.
Jenny is described as white, 6ft tall and has dark brown hair. Her family have now confirmed she may have also been carrying a green jacket and had her hair up in a ponytail.
Chief Inspector Dean Haythornthwaite, of Durham Constabulary, said: "We have become increasingly concerned for Jenny since she was reported missing on Tuesday and have been exploring all lines of enquiry, including dozens from members of the public.
"We are focussing our search on areas we know Jenny likes to run through and we are determined to do everything we can to find her. I would like to thank everyone who is working around-the-clock in our search and efforts to reunite Jenny with her family."
Anyone who believes they may have seen Jenny or has any relevant information about her whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately on 999.
