A major road is closed in both directions after a crash between a motorbike and a car.
Emergency services are currently at the scene on Prescot Road in Maghull following a crash involving a grey Vauxhall Combo, a Volkswagen golf and a motorbike. Traffic monitoring site Inrix said the crash happened at the junction of Maghull Lane and Prescot Road.
Merseyside Police were called to the scene at around 7.30am this morning, June 1. Two men who were travelling on the motorbike were taken to hospital for treatment.

It's currently unclear how serious their injuries are but they are not believed to be life threatening, police said. Road closures remain in place on Prescot Road and drivers are being asked to find alternative routes where possible.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 7.30am this morning Wednesday 1 June officers were called to a report of a collision involving two vehicles: a grey Vauxhall Combo, a Volkswagen golf and a motorbike. Two men on the motorbike were taken to hospital with injuries.
"Road closures are currently in place on Prescot Road while emergency services deal with the incident and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes where possible."
