A MAJOR retailer has suddenly closed down its store on a busy Glasgow shopping street.
Timberland has shut its shop at 160 Buchanan Street in the city centre.
A sign on the store's door revealed the news. It read: "This store has now closed.
"Your nearest Timberland store is 34 George Street, Edinburgh."
It is unknown why the clothing giant has decided to close its store on the city's Style Mile.
Timberland has been contacted for comment.
