A major new showroom has opened on Castle Boulevard in Nottingham. Sofas & Stuff offers bespoke handmade sofas, chairs and footstools along with beds.
The launch took place on Thursday, August 18 with a few drinks and canapes to celebrate the opening of the store. A harp player also joined customers in the afternoon. Design consultants were on hand to offer style advice and help customers to choose the perfect piece of furniture.
The new store joins several furniture and home design businesses in the area including Zoo Interiors, JP outdoor heating and Frank Knighton who also sell sofas. The store is next to the Kitchen and Bathroom World store and is helping to create an interior hub in the area.

The opening marks the 21st showroom that Sofas & Stuff have in the UK with other locations in Cheltenham, St. Albans and Edinburgh. The brand was established in 2009 and this is its first location in Nottingham. They offer over 70 years of experience which spans over three family generations.
Customers will be able to order custom-made furniture pieces and select from fabric houses such as Linwood, Colefax & Fowler or Morris & Co. The pieces are individually handmade in Britain before being shipped to their new homes.
Andrew Cussins, Founder and CEO, Sofas & Stuff, says “We are excited to launch our new showroom in Nottingham, bringing the Sofas & Stuff experience to the city and surrounding area. Our team can’t wait to become part of the community, and to welcome customers into our new home."
To mark the launch, the store has also launched a competition where customers can win a custom-made sofa worth £2,000. To enter, visitors are encouraged to visit the website and answer a simple question about the Nottingham store before October 31 with the winner announced on Monday, November 7.
