Nottingham Forest defender Neco Williams is set to miss the rest of the season after fracturing his jaw during the Reds' win over Brighton, NottinghamshireLive understands.
The 22-year-old suffered the injury during Forest's 3-1 win over Brighton in the Premier League on Wednesday. Williams was stretchered off before being taken to hospital where he is due to have surgery on Thursday.
And in a blow to the Reds' survival chances, Williams' season looks to be over with just five games left of the campaign.

It adds to a growing injury list at the City Ground after Moussa Niakhate was also taken off during the Brighton game just 14 minutes in due to a hamstring problem.
Forest's win over the Seagulls was their first victory since beating Leeds in February. An own-goal was followed by a fantastic finish from Danilo and a Morgan Gibbs-White penalty as Steve Cooper's side moved out of the bottom three.
The Reds travel to Brentford next on Saturday ahead of games against Southampton, Chelsea and Arsenal before ending the campaign away at Crystal Palace.
