A major Edinburgh road has been blocked after a car smashed into a parked vehicle.
The incident took place at around 10.45am on Tuesday, January 10 on Calder Road in the west of the city. A driver was assessed by paramedics with two fire engines rushing to the scene.

It is unknown if there have been any serious injuries.
One eyewitness told Edinburgh Live: "Sadly there has been a crash on Calder Road near Saughton school on the side of the road coming towards Longstone.
"All the road is blocked off by fire engines and traffic is already building up along the road. Hope all involved are OK."
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were made aware of a crash involving a car and a parked vehicle on Calder Road in Edinburgh shortly after 10.40 am on Tuesday January 10."
They continued: “One person was being assessed by the ambulance service and recovery was arranged for the vehicle.”
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call at 10.43am and two appliances attended the scene.
"An ambulance was also in attendance and it was a road traffic collision involving one vehicle. The appliances left the scene at 11.30am."

A spokesperson at the Scottish Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 1038 hours today to attend an incident on Calder Road in Edinburgh.
"We dispatched an ambulance to the scene and transported one patient to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.”
