Major Dean Henderson transfer update as Man Utd in 'contact' with clubs

On-loan Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dean Henderson has been linked with a summer transfer as two unnamed clubs have reportedly been in touch with parent club Manchester United.

The 25-year-old has impressed for the Reds during their return to the Premier League but hasn't played since picking up an injury against Leicester in January. Forest responded to Henderson's injury by signing former Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas on loan until the end of the season.

But with Forest's top-flight status for next season in jeopardy, it appears unlikely that the Red Devils keeper will remain at the City Ground beyond the summer.

The Athletic claim that two clubs have already been in touch with Man United over signing him.

The two unnamed clubs are reportedly in talks with United over agreeing on a permanent deal in the summer as the report claims that United are looking into the possibility of cashing in on Henderson who has a contract at United until 2025.

Henderson has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur with doubts over the long-term future of former France captain Hugo Lloris.
