Major city store reopens with a seventies-inspired new look

Molton Brown, the British fragrance maker has reopened their Nottingham branch after it was refurbished with a 1970s-inspired twist. The store can be found at 21 St Petersgate across from the bookshop Waterstones and Kiehl's cosmetics.

The contemporary new store features natural rattan textures, plants and British furniture that places a twist on their original Mayfair salon in London. The brand is focused on sustainability so all of the floor tiles are sustainable with part of the walls made from cork which is made at a factory using predominately renewable energy with a zero-waste policy.

The store will offer an eco-conscious refillable collection, which will include 'keep forever' reusable glass bottles and hand wash refills. The plastic bottles used in-store are made from 50 percent recycled PET but there will be an option for customers to recycle their old Molton Brown products with the 'return. recycle. reward scheme.

Steve Clark, Retail Sales Director said: “We at Molton Brown have been passionately investing in our stores over the last few years, ensuring that they evolve to stay relevant; putting experience at the heart of what we do. Working with award-winning designers Dalziel & Pow and taking inspiration from the first Molton Brown salon that opened in 1971, we have developed an exciting new store concept which we will now begin to roll out across our store estate.”

The store sells the Molton Brown range of luxury handwashes, soaps and hair care. Molton Brown also has a concession in John Lewis in the Victoria Centre.
