Major Bramley-Moore Dock update as Conor Coady shares delight with Everton team-mate

Here are your Everton evening headlines for Tuesday, October 25.

Bramley-Moore Dock update

Denise Barrett-Baxendale has provided Everton supporters with an 'exciting' Bramley-Moore Dock update as the club heads towards its 'next big milestone' in the project.

Everton's new home has been under construction for way over a year now, with the skeleton now part of the Merseyside skyline as the development extends to the third level in the west (main) stand. Concrete raker beams now span the two lower tiers of the stand, which will eventually be home to a variety of function rooms, along with the dressing rooms and players’ tunnel.

Coady shares Calvert-Lewin delight

Conor Coady has shared his delight for Dominic Calvert-Lewin after the Everton striker opened his account for the season in Saturday's win against Palace.

Calvert-Lewin opened the scoring at Goodison on Saturday, bulldozing through Marc Guehi before smashing into the bottom corner within 11 minutes. The Blues striker admitted after the final whistle that the past 12 months has been one of the most difficult period of his career, adding that finding the net brought with it a great sense of relief.

And Coady has shared the delight that he and the rest of the squad felt to see his teammate back fit and firing.

"He's a fantastic footballer, brilliant person Dom as well and what he brings to the dressing room, the character he brings as well, it's really really good," Coady told talkSPORT. "Since Neal's [Maupay] come into the club, he's been fantastic but I think Dom coming back into the team, getting his goal which is massive for any striker, we all know that, we know they feed off goals, that's all they want to do is score goals.

"A fantastic person but we were all so happy for him because he's been through a real tough time with his injuries so to see him back and firing was really, really good."
