It would appear And Just Like That's Carrie and Aidan are well and truly back on after new pictures show the pair snogging – sending Sex And The City fans into a frenzy.
Season two snaps show Sarah Jessica Parker and John Corbett's characters packing on the PDA following a well-known on-and-off relationship.
The journalist has seemingly got over the loss of her former flame Mr Big, played by Chris Noth, who died from a heart attack while on a Peloton bike in season one.
On-set photographs captured the moment Aidan and Carrie embraced right outside her iconic brownstone apartment in New York City.
Sex And The City fans were previously divided at the idea of Aidan's return to the spin-off – the pair broke up twice after Carrie cheated on him with Mr Big.
But now fans are fuming after seeing the saucy season two reunion pictures, saying the former couple "were horrible for each other".
Another fan wrote on Twitter : "Seriously can’t believe we might very soon get a new carrie and aidan kiss after 13 years?? i’m in SHAMBLES."
"Seeing Aidan and Carrie together just made me giddy," penned a third.
While a fourth explained: "I’m so nervous And Just Like That is toying with us about Carrie and Aidan. Because like… I want it. I don’t care that she don’t deserve him. I want it."
Sarah previously teased Aidan's return in an interview, saying: "Could be, could be. Well, you know, I can't be like, cryptic about it anymore."
But now it's very much confirmed he's coming back and is coming for Carrie.
Aidan was last seen in the 2010 spin-off movie Sex and the City 2, in which he took Carrie on a dinner date and kissed her, despite her being married to her now-late husband Mr. Big.
When season one of the Sex And The City sequel was in production last year, John joked that he would be making an appearance in the reboot.
However, fans were disappointed that the actor never appeared in any of the episodes.
But Sarah thought the joke was funny "It was fun. It was fun for him to say that," the actress explained on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
She added: "When he actually reached out, very kindly, because he's nothing if not a gentleman, and apologized for doing that as a joke, and then I was like, 'No, no, no, it's a free country first of all."
John previously spoke about what he thinks his character would be like now after all these years in an interview with Glamour.
"I feel like Aidan is one of those guys that five years or 10 years from now, he’s probably going to be doing the same thing," he explained.
He added: "I think he would probably be wearing some of the same clothes, working on furniture, and driving an old truck."
