Maisie Smith rocks corset and thigh high boots as she films first TV role since EastEnders

Maisie Smith was spotted wearing a racy ensemble as she filmed scenes for her upcoming movie - her first role since leaving EastEnders.

The 21-year-old rocked a cropped pink corset, giving a peak at Maisie’s enviable abs, teamed with a short denim skirt and a beige trenchcoat while on set for her new film, The Bermondsey Tales.

She finished off the look with a pair of black thigh-high leather boots, and was seen walking up and down a leafy street in south London as she spoke to others during filming, and bore a striking resemblance to Julia Roberts' character in the 1990 romantic comedy Pretty Woman.

In the new flick, Maisie is playing lead character Chloe, who is the daughter of a mob boss, and she’ll star alongside Alan Ford from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, as well as Adam Deacon.

It’s the first big role she’s had since leaving the long-running BBC One soap last year, leaving behind her much-loved role of Tiffany Butcher after playing the role on and off since 2008.

A source told The Sun: “It is an exciting new venture for Maisie and she can’t wait to dip her toe into a big new project.

"Since Strictly and EastEnders she has kept her eyes open for her next on-screen job, and the people behind Bermondsey Tales thought Maisie was the perfect fit,” they added.

Maisie, who is currently dating The Wanted’s Max George, left EastEnders in 2014 before making a brief comeback in 2016.

She had a more regular role on the show in 2018 but quit four years later.

However, she hasn’t ruled out a return to Albert Square, and told OK! magazine that EastEnders will always be a huge part of her life.

"You never leave EastEnders. I’ve got a family on there that will be there for the next 50 years. I’ll always have a place there,” she explained.

Maisie joked: The next time someone gets married or dies, I’m sure I’ll be back.”
