Saifai (Etawah): Samajwadi Party candidate Dimple Yadav has made the serious allegation of rigging in the byelection on Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat. She said the District Magistrate is not picking up the phone of Party workers to lodge the complaint of rigging.
As a result there is lot of resentment among the SP workers. Dimple Yadav has also appealed to the Election Commission to look into the matter.

Dimple Yadav made these allegations in a tweet. Dimple wrote “DM Mainpuri is not receiving the calls of SP workers regarding the complaint of rigging in the elections. Election Commissioner must take its cognizance”.
Samajwadi Party has accused the police-administration and BJP of irregularities in Mainpuri Lok Sabha byelection. After casting their vote in Saifai, Akhilesh Yadav and SP candidate Dimple Yadav held a press conference about the regularities.
Akhilesh Yadav said that even in Rampur byelection police is harassing SP cadre and even stopping them from voting.
