Maia Dunphy paid tribute to two driving schools in Dublin after passing her test this week.
The 46-year-old shared the news on Twitter as she proudly posed with her certificate in a photo. Maia thanked both Southside Driving School and Ladybird Driving School for steering her in the right direction.
The TV presenter also thanked her dad for accompanying her as a qualified driver in practise sessions prior to her test. She also joked that he was not available for hire amongst her followers.

She wrote on Twitter: "Ignore the tired, puffy eyes, but who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? So happy to pass my driving test!"
She went on to pay tribute to her instructor Alan at Southside Driving School, as well as the staff at Ladybird Driving School where she embarked on a pre-test last week. People on Twitter congratulated Maia on her achievement and reflected on their own relationship with driving.
One person wrote: "I passed mine six weeks ago at the grand age of sixty. Nerves always got the better of me but not this time."
Another person jokingly added: "I called my provisional license the off license because that was the only place I used to use it."
Eagle-eyed readers also picked up on Maia's unusual middle name 'Conchita' printed on her certificate of competency. The broadcaster explained it was a nod to her family's Iberian heritage, having been her Spanish granny's first name.
