KALYAN: Shiv Sena rebel leader Eknath Shinde's supporter and MLA of Ambernath assembly constituency Dr Balaji Kinikar has received a letter threatening to kill him.
The letter was received at his office by his personal secretary on Tuesday.
Kinikar, who is third time MLA from Shiv Sena is close to Eknath Shinde and since beginning he is with his group.
The letter sent by an unknown person at Kinikar's office situated in Ambernath (West) says: "It's time to shoot you Dr Balaji Kinikar. You have caused a lot of trouble to our Shiv Sena leader. I am writing this letter because before you die you should live in fear".
The local Shivaji Nagar police has booked an unknown person in the matter.
Many supporters of Kinikar on Tuesday had came on road in his support while some unknown persons put posters across city against him written, "Yes I am traitor" on it.
