Maharashtra: Father-son kill neighbour in Nashik, carry severed head to police station

Nashik: A man and his son allegedly killed their neighbour and then reached the Police station with the victim's severed head to confess their crime in Nashik, officials said on Thursday. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the alleged incident occurred in Nanashi village of Dindori taluka. 

Father-son due held
The police said that they have arrested the accused man and detained his son. The boy's age was not disclosed by the police.

Deceased 
The deceased has been identified as Gulab Ramchandra Waghmare (35). He was allegedly killed with an axe and a sickle by the father-son duo. 

Locals damage accused house
Following the incident, locals razed house of the accused and torched their vehicle. 

Police force deployed 
Along with the local police, personnel of the nearby police stations as well as the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) were deployed to maintain law and order. 
According to the officials, there was a long-standing dispute between the two families. They had lodged police complaints against each other on December 31. The father son duo allegedly killed Waghmare on the suspicion of helping his (Boke's) daughter to elope.

Case lodged 
A case has been registered under various sections of the BNS at the Peth police station. (With Agency Inputs)
